Kabale University lecturers came to visit the ALTER research sites
Kabale University lecturers came to visit the ALTER research sites where three of their students were interning with ALTER researcher Jenny Farmer from the University of Aberdeen. The lecturers joined the research team to learn about the soil sampling methods used in peatlands, and got their hands dirty taking some of the soil samples. The ALTER project in Uganda is enjoying a good learning and information sharing relationship with Kabale University, where a number of interns and research assistants have come from to join ALTER research activities.
