Jenny recently gained her PhD from the University of Aberdeen. During this research, she lived in Indonesia for one and a half years conducting fieldwork to measure soil carbon and GHG emissions from peat swamp forests, examining the impact of land use conversion for oil palm plantations. She is author of a number of papers on soil carbon modelling. Prior to this she worked in Uganda, where she also grew up, to establish the Uganda Carbon Bureau and develop the Bureau’s forestry and carbon offsetting services. She has a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds.
